📡 The service

File Transfer lets you send a file directly from your browser to another person’s browser. The service is free and funded by advertising. Using it implies acceptance of these terms.

The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it working, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or that every transfer will succeed.

✅ Acceptable use

You are solely responsible for the files you send and receive. It is strictly forbidden to use File Transfer to share:

• content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights (films, music, software, books… without the rights holder’s permission);
• malware, viruses or any file designed to harm the recipient;
• child sexual abuse material, content inciting hatred, violence or terrorism;
• personal data of other people without their consent, or any other illegal content.

🚩 Copyright and abuse reports

Files are never stored on our servers, so we cannot access or delete them. If you believe the service is being used to infringe your rights or to share illegal content, report it to contact@file-transfert.com with as much detail as possible (the link used, the date, the nature of the content). We will cooperate with the competent authorities when required by law.

🛡️ Liability

Keep a copy of your files: we cannot be held liable for a failed, interrupted or corrupted transfer, nor for the content of the files exchanged between users. Always check files received from people you do not know before opening them.

⚖️ Changes and applicable law

These terms may change; the version published on this page applies. They are governed by French law.
